ABOUT
My Story
Hi, I’m Alex. I’m glad you’re here.
My work involves getting complicated things where they need to be. Life, of course, has been harder to put on a schedule. I’ve built a career, moved across the world with my family, taken basic jobs after an established professional life, and worked on global technology projects.
Through those changes, faith in God, family, and a willingness to keep learning have remained at the heart of my life. Here I share that story and ideas I’m still putting into practice. Perhaps something will speak to the chapter you’re living now.
Growing Up in a Changing World
I grew up in a poor neighborhood. The country I was born in collapsed while I was growing up. Independence was restored, and values and cultural norms changed around us. Change was part of the world I was learning to understand.
Over time, I built a successful career in Kazakhstan. I had established myself professionally and achieved a great deal before moving abroad. That chapter matters to me. The experience I gained there came with me into everything that followed.
Beginning Again, Together
In 2015, my wife and I moved to the United States with our two young children. In those first months, I took basic jobs and began rebuilding my working life. I continued my education and learned how to apply my experience in a new environment.
Having experience and being a beginner can happen at the same time. That experience is behind much of what I write about growth and self-reliance: learning useful skills, accepting help, and finding a next step small enough to take.
MY STORY
Big Projects, Everyday Lessons
My career has included leading global projects at Microsoft and Lenovo. Today, I’m Director of OFCI Logistics at SB Energy, supporting data centers and large-scale AI infrastructure. Across different roles and organizations, I keep returning to the same essentials: solve problems, follow through, and be someone others can count on.
For all the technology involved, the work still comes back to people. Clear communication, trust, and taking responsibility matter. I’ve learned from successes, mistakes, and people generous enough to share what they knew. Those lessons are worth passing along.
Family, Faith, and What Matters Most
I’ve worked nights to provide for my family. I’m also still learning how to meet my responsibilities and be present for the people I love. Providing, listening, keeping promises, making time for one another: these all belong in the conversation about a good life.
My father died of cancer when I was 36. Alongside the new beginnings and achievements, my story includes loss. These chapters belong here, too.
Through it all, I have kept going without blaming others and kept thanking God for the blessings in my life. Everything I have achieved belongs to Him. His constant presence has made it possible. Faith runs through the whole story: how I see my responsibilities, how I treat people, and why I want to share what I’ve learned.
Your beliefs may be different from mine. You are welcome here. I hope we can explore questions many of us share: how to care for our families, do honest work, grow through change, and make life better for someone else.

Faith
I thank God for the blessings in my life and give Him the credit for everything I’ve achieved.
Integrity
I try to keep my word, be honest about what I can do, and own my mistakes, even when it’s uncomfortable.
Family
I want to be there for the people I love: to listen, keep promises, and make time for life together.
Growth & Resilience
I’m still learning how to adapt when life changes, learn from setbacks, and take the next step.
Self-Reliance
I work on the skills and habits that help me care for my responsibilities, prepare ahead, and accept useful help.
Service
Sharing experience, listening, or helping someone learn can make their next step a little easier. I try to do that when I can.

Where Shall We Go Next?
Start wherever your curiosity takes you: family, work, faith, or a change you’re finding your way through. There is room here for serious questions, small discoveries, and the pleasure of learning something useful. Read an article, follow an idea, and stay a little longer if you like. If something sparks a question or reminds you of your own experience, I’d be glad to hear from you.
